About Me

Hi, I’m Francesca Brecciaroli!
Although my surname can be a bit tricky to pronounce here in the UK, people often jokingly call me “Broccoli” instead.
I’m 100% Italian and moved to the UK in 2002. Over the years, I’ve come to feel like a hybrid citizen, blending Italian and English cultures.
I live in Beckenham (South London) with my husband—also Italian—and our two boys.
One thing I’ll never lose from my Italian roots is my love for food. In my home, there’s always a handmade dinner served on a properly set table. I’m very traditional in this sense and love the idea of everyone eating together as a family.

A Touch of Italy
One thing I’ll never lose from my Italian roots is my love for food. In my home, there’s always a handmade dinner served on a properly set table. I’m very traditional in this sense and love the idea of everyone eating together as a family.
We also have a cat, Tina, who is undoubtedly the Queen of our house.

The aesthetic we love
Sports
I can’t imagine life without it! My husband and I love challenging ourselves with marathon adventures around Europe—until we can’t anymore!
Cinema
I adore films, especially historic ones. Some of my favorites are The Lives of Others, La Vita è Bella, and Schindler’s List.

Art & Creativity
Music, art exhibitions, and anything creative make me feel alive and inspired.
Street Photography
I’m passionate about street photography and have built a growing collection of books by photographers like Pau Buscato, Vineet Vohra, and Matt Stuart. Their work’s humor and depth captivate me. I’ve also started my own Instagram account for street photography: @piccolino_street. I only wish I had more time to dedicate to it!
A Glimpse into my life
At the heart of everything I do, I’m driven by creativity, tradition, and the joy of storytelling—whether it’s through my wedding photography or the moments I capture on the streets.
