Beckenham Place Mansion

This time, I had the distinct pleasure of being the photographer for a wonderful couple at the magnificent Beckenham Place Mansion, and I can honestly say it was an experience I will never forget. What made this wedding particularly special to me was not only the fact that I was hired by someone I know, but also that I live in Beckenham myself. Being able to photograph such a meaningful event in my own community made it all the more intimate and emotionally charged for me.

Located in the heart of Beckenham Place Park—undoubtedly one of South London’s finest green spaces—Beckenham Place Mansion is an absolute gem. The park is a true haven, impeccably maintained with expansive lawns, lush trees, and a tranquil atmosphere that exudes a natural beauty, making it feel like a hidden oasis. It’s the perfect backdrop for any event, and for this wedding, it created an enchanting setting that made the day even more magical.

PREPARATION

Kate’s morning was filled with love, laughter, and excitement as she got ready in the comfort of her home in Beckenham. Surrounded by her closest friends, her sister, and her cousins, she enjoyed every moment of the preparations. The incredibly talented @katsperringmakeup worked her magic, ensuring Kate looked and felt her absolute best for the big day.
Adding to the warmth of the morning was Kate’s beautiful and effortlessly cool mum, someone I’ve had the pleasure of knowing well. Her presence brought an extra touch of love and familiarity to the getting-ready moments. Kate’s children were also part of this special time, soaking in the excitement before heading off a little earlier to get ready for their own important role—the big entrance just before their mum and grandad made their way down the aisle.
It was the perfect start to a day that would be filled with unforgettable moments, deep emotions, and so much joy.

CEREMONY, RECEPTION, SPEECHES AND DANCES

Kate was of course nervous and drank a quick shot before entering the ceremony room….then all got much more relaxed and the love and the family joy got even more strong during drinks and the speeches after the meal meticulously prepared by clerk kitchen
Everything run super smoothly, the dances and the chatting outdoor in the park closed the day in a very special and memorable way
I forgot to mention Dave, the groom, who performed as a DJ at the end of the night and he was truly amazing making everybody join the dancefloor!
