If you are looking to get married around Faversham, I can’t recommend the magic Mount Ephraim Gardens enough.
The venue is a privately own house with a warm and romantic atmosphere and it’s positioned in the heart of Kent .
I’m a documentary wedding photographer covering London and Kent and I had the pleasure of photographing Mark and Rute who decided to tie the knot here in July 2022.
The Staff
I ‘ve immediately noticed the friendly and warm staff from the start and I’ve also noted the special care they put into the wedding preparations.
Sara Newman was the venue co-ordinator and she was kind, professional and well organised even if the ceremony happened to be a bit out of schedule.
If you are also looking for a videographer, I’d strongly recommend to consider cmfilms run by Carla Minhoto
I have worked with Carla, and she is reliable, professional and super friendly.
The video at the start of this post, is part of her work.
The Venue
The venue is a country house, with beautiful indoor décor and elegant staircases. It’s also surrounded by authentic Edwardian furniture.
The house offers accommodation so you can have a peace of mind and enjoy your party until the very end!
If you have a big wedding of more than 100 people, the venue offers a marquee reception in their garden and can accommodate up to 250 guests
The building is surrounded by its beautiful gardens which offer plenty of photo opportunity and also provides a fantastic and pleasant view.
Particular attention deserves the Rock garden, which was built in a Japanese style with a beautiful Japanese bridge which is one of the most defining features of the gardens today. I also fell in love with the Topiary Garden. Have a look on their website if you can.
